Our culture tells us that life is found in success, comfort, status, achievement, or creating our own identity. The church in Corinth wasn't so different. They were divided, distracted and looking for significance in all the wrong places. Throughout 1 Corinthians we'll discover that the gospel calls us to something better. Our identity isn't something we create—it's something that we receive by grace in Christ.
